I have bought the software and find out that the branding feature is most likely useless because even though you can change your logo and color of BG but there's a giant sendturtle logo on top and it's annoying and can't be removed. You should have a custom domain feature as well for branding otherwise it's just not good enough to claim custom branding feature for just logo changes. Lastly i will say the software is good that we can track and monitor documents but still lack on real time update on some features

Thanks for your feedback! Based on your thoughts and in support of better custom branding, we decided to remove the header banner on that page so that there is no longer a SendTurtle logo visible on the page. If you check it out now, it should be gone for all your link, including prior ones.
As for custom domain, we have that on our roadmap. We'll work with the AppSumo team to find the best way...
I just bought the lowest tier to test it out before I upgrade.
Some feedback:
1) Duplicated tab function: Send files & eSignature are essential the same tab. Just keep it as Send files since the eSignature function is there and understood to be there
2) Unnecessary workflow friction for signing: After adding eSignature, it's a must to input recipient email - I'd like to have the file uploaded first, and input recipient's email later and as optional (like usual online PDFs editors/signers). Since it's meant as a link to recipient, I don't see why this has to be insisted before my file can be uploaded
On another note, while I can understand for the need to input email to access the file in the case of having multiple signers, perhaps it can be an unique link generated method instead?
For 1 signer case which would be mainly my usage, the link itself should suffice. And since I've disabled required email verification (as I want to remove the the extra step for client having to go into email), there shouldn't be the need to input their email to access (again relating to inputting email being optional; and no purpose as it invites question from client e.g. would I be receiving it after I input email? - point #3)
3) Disabling download: For my case, I just want the client to use the link and sign. I want the client to view the docs there for the heatmap, not download and read at own time (defeating the purpose of insights). Also why does "The owner has set this file to prohibit downloading" have to be there? It's unsightly for client to see this
4) Request - Permanent mass-accessible file (Non-signing docs): As I understand what this platform can do, it occurs to me that it'd be helpful if I can upload eg. a PDF (e.g. my intro/pitch slides) that never expires. Such that I can send this link to anyone (and that's where email input can be set as mandatory), for me to be able to capture insights on the respective viewer (i.e. I would know which slide catches more attention for whom). On this note, it could be a further meaningful feature to implement a statistics tabulation e.g. 50 people viewed the file; 80% of viewers spent more time on page 5 etc.
5) Better UI: The portal looks modern enough however, some areas can be improved in terms of the layout formatting and also better fluidity - just an aesthetic comment.

Will increase my rating if these restrictive experiences can be improved. Certainly see value in this and will provide more feedback as it comes along!

Thanks for your feedback and thoughts in the review!
1) Absolutely, we actually are retooling the eSignature workflow so that it is more of a step-by-step for people who want to send eSignature. We had a lot of feedback people didn't know where to find it when it was all in the Send tab so this was a temporary fix. But, right now it is similar except for using the eSignature tab will not let you...
SendTurtle doesn’t feel like “just another file-sharing tool.” It’s more like a bulletproof booth with a glass window: you send a document, observe it from the outside, and you can clearly see what happens inside. How long someone looks at it, where they look, and whether it’s worth knocking on the door again.
The magic lies in how it tells stories without words: a parent views a school trip PDF, spends 18.9 seconds on the logistics page, skims past the educational benefits… and the system recommends sending a follow-up clarifying exactly what they skipped. SendTurtle doesn’t simply share files, it shares insight.
The best part? When a link expires, the file doesn’t “sleep” on a server or linger in some forgotten folder. It vanishes elegantly: deleted from the backend, inaccessible, unrecoverable… like a self-destructing encrypted message. Only the historical record remains for analytics, and soon you’ll even be able to delete that too. This is not a disguised cloud drive — it’s a tool that prioritizes privacy and purpose over digital clutter.
Then comes the controversial part: only 5 e-signatures per month. Some see that as a limitation, but it’s actually a smart decision. Digital signatures are like a full orchestra: expensive, technically demanding, and easy to bankrupt a service if offered “unlimited” for a one-time fee. Unlimited signatures sound generous, but it’s the same trap that has shut down several platforms. Limiting them shows something rare: a business that wants sustainability, not virality.
And if those monthly signatures run out, you can buy extra signature packs that never expire. They don’t renew automatically like the base monthly 5, but they remain available until you use them, with no pressure or deadlines. A simple, fair model that doesn’t jeopardize the service’s future.
It all makes sense once you discover why: SendTurtle is powered by Phalanx. This isn’t a random side-project. Phalanx is a real cybersecurity company focused on preventing data leakage with enterprise-grade solutions. SendTurtle is their approachable version — designed for people who don’t need a nuclear lab on their desk, but still demand documents that won’t jump out the window.
In short, SendTurtle isn’t for people who store files “just because.” It’s for anyone who shares documents that should be viewed with intention. Ideal for schools, consultants, entrepreneurs, institutions, and anyone who wants to know not only that a document was shared, but whether it was genuinely read.
With Phalanx under the hood, smart analytics, and a sustainable pricing model, this tool doesn’t try to please everyone — only those who value meaningful, secure communication.
And yes: sometimes fewer signatures mean a longer-lasting future. 🐢📄✨

This made our day, thank you!
We’re thrilled SendTurtle’s approach stood out with the secure links, view analytics that support better follow-ups, and privacy-first expiration/deletion. Also, thanks for digging into our background as a cybersecurity company!
We also appreciate the note on e-signatures: the included monthly allotment and optional non-expiring packs are designed to keep pricing...
