What 3rd party tools is your product critically dependent on?

Google Search Console API – For gathering accurate keyword and ranking data.

Digital Ocean (NYC droplet) – Used for handling user authentication securely.

Freemius – Manages licensing and subscriptions for our premium users.

Where is your customer data stored?

API access tokens are stored on Digital Ocean (USA-based droplet). User licensing and billing data are stored securely with Freemius, USA. SEO Booster stores all collected keyword data locally on each user’s WordPress site.

What’s the origin of the idea for your product?

I have worked with SEO for over 20 years and realized that most SEO plugins are overly complex or lock your data into their cloud-based systems. I wanted to build a WordPress-native solution that automates keyword tracking, internal linking, and analysis—without losing control of your SEO data. SEO Booster was born from my need for a simple, effective way to track and optimize SEO directly inside WordPress.

Thanks for the question! To clarify: There is no special "AppSumo version" of the plugin. Whether you purchase SEO Booster through AppSumo or directly from our website, you're getting the exact same plugin with the same features and updates.

The only difference is how the license is purchased. AppSumo users get a lifetime deal tied to their account, while customers on our site may choose monthly or annual plans.

So nothing is missing, and you won't be limited in the future either. All updates and improvements apply to everyone, regardless of where you got your license.

Rank Math Pro is great for handling on-page SEO tasks—like managing titles, meta tags, schema, and sitemaps. SEO Booster takes a different angle by deeply integrating with Google Search Console to pull keyword and traffic data straight from Google. Here’s what sets us apart:

1. Full GSC Integration
We show you which keywords are already driving traffic, where you’re missing clicks - all right in your WordPress dashboard. Most SEO plugins (including Rank Math) don’t offer this same in-depth GSC data.

2. Keyword Usage Analysis
We highlight how often a keyword actually appears on your pages, alerting you to “keyword gaps” or duplicate usage. That way, you can see whether your content is optimized for the terms you’re already ranking for.

3. Automatic Internal Linking
Enter a keyword and a target URL, and SEO Booster can automatically insert links anywhere that keyword appears in your content. You can edit or remove those links anytime in the plugin interface. Rank Math doesn’t currently offer a feature that dynamically injects links in this way.

Do you plan on adding a feature that would give us the option to hard code the links? I worry about what would happen if I ever needed to deactivate or remove the plugin.

A: That's a great suggestion - and something we'd definitely like to include in the plugin. While it may be a bit tricky to implement for more advanced page builders, we do believe it's possible to create a "burn the link" feature for standard posts and pages. This would let you permanently insert the links into the content, so they remain even if the plugin is deactivated. Two Weeks Using the SEO Booster Plugin
