do you have a help guide for changing canonical url? can i change it once it's been processed? and is there a way to create unique canonical urls as google seems to want to not index a lot fo the pages due to "Alternate Page with Proper Canonical Tag"
Currently, we don’t have a specific help guide dedicated to changing canonical URLs, but we do cover it in this section of our video guide (starting at 11:27): https://youtu.be/5mMmp-kZLkE?si=l7h5cD3gCLM28XX3&t=687
In most cases like this, an SEO plugin (like Yoast or RankMath) adds the archive page as the canonical URL to all pages. This often leads Google to not index the individual pages, showing the “Alternate Page with Proper Canonical Tag” message.
You can resolve this in one of two ways:
1) Adjust the settings in your SEO plugin to stop it from overriding the canonical URL for SEO Generator items.
2) Switch off canonical handling for the SEO Generator custom post type in your SEO plugin, and instead set the correct canonical URL directly within the SEO Generator plugin.
If you have any further questions feel free to send us an e-mail on info@seogenerator.io.
Do you plan to enable editing of specific pages in future updates? For example, I have clients who provide services in different cities, and I need to be able to add different contact information depending on the region. Is there a way to do this now?
Yes, this is already possible using our shortcodes. You can customize the content of your SEO Pages for specific search terms and/or locations that you define, perfect for adding region-specific contact information.
You can find full details on how to use this feature in our manual here: 👉 Using Shortcodes – SEO Generator Manual https://seogenerator.io/manuals/using-shortcodes/
Being honest, I got lost trying to understand the manual 😅. But it would be really nice if there was a way to have some kind of form in the text, where we could add and edit different professionals/businesses simple profile per city, like, '3 top XXXX in New York' .. then 3 more for another city, and so on.
You can use SEO Generator with every language. Just to be sure, the plugin does not generate new text, e.g. with AI. It creates (a lot of) landing pages based on one SEO text that you write yourself, with shortcodes for keywords and locations.

Hello! I noticed that it definitely works in terms of getting the pages propagated as well as the URLs. Unfortunately, I created and published the page prior to going to your Elementor tutorial. However, I sent the page to the trash and hope that removed the other pages. How can I confirm that?
I followed your instructions regarding Elementor for the new page. However, I'm having difficulty updating the menu as well as the title. Do you have any suggestions on that? I have a template that I use on all of my website pages. I could add the menu but it wouldn't allow me to move it to the top of the page. When I went to the menu page, I noticed SEO Generator but there wasn't anything in the tab as of yet because I hadn't published the new page yet.
Any suggestions on designing the page would be helpful. Thanks!
If you delete the master page created with SEO Generator, then all the automatically created URLs based on that page will also be removed. You can confirm this by checking your sitemap — the URLs should no longer appear there. Just keep in mind: the URLs only become active once the master page is published.
Regarding your Elementor questions:
If you're having trouble updating the menu or title, it's possible the template you’re using has fixed header positioning or custom layout restrictions.
You mentioned you could add the menu but couldn't move it to the top — that might be due to the template’s structure. Try editing the header section directly or using Elementor's Theme Builder to customize the global header.
As for the SEO Generator tab being empty: that’s expected behavior until the new page is published.
If you can send us a few screenshots of what you’re seeing in Elementor (especially with the menu issue), we’d be happy to take a closer look and guide you further. You can email them to info@seogenerator.io.
While both SEO Generator and LPagery aim to automate the creation of SEO landing pages at scale, SEO Generator stands out in several key ways:
1) More Flexible Output SEO Generator gives you full control over how your content is generated and displayed. Unlike LPagery, which is limited to creating static pages from a template, SEO Generator integrates directly with your WordPress theme and allows you to use dynamic shortcodes and even show or hide certain content based on search terms or locations.
2) Tighter WordPress Integration LPagery works mostly outside your site and pushes content in. SEO Generator is a true WordPress plugin. It works with your existing SEO tools (like Rank Math, SEOPress, or Yoast), uses your site’s theme and structure, and even supports custom post types. It’s a native experience rather than a bolt-on solution.
3) Ongoing Development with Real-World Use Cases SEO Generator is built by SEO professionals who actively use it on client sites. That means frequent updates, practical new features (like spintax, archive excerpts, or sitemap naming), and support that understands your needs.
4) Transparent Pricing – No Per-Page Limits Unlike LPagery, which has page-based pricing, SEO Generator doesn’t charge you based on how many pages you create. You’re free to scale without worrying about hitting a limit.
If you have any further questions feel free to send us an e-mail on info@seogenerator.io.
The SEO Generator is a Wordpress plugin and will only work in Wordpress websites. You cannot use any Wordpress plugin for that matter on the DUDA website builder platform though.

Hi, thanks for your message!
We're not sure what part of the manual was unclear—but yes, you can use a form plugin to add a form in the SEO Generator pages.
We’re also not sure what you mean by “profiles per city,” but this guide might help:
