This page has a canonical tag that does not match the current URL. Search engines are more likely to promote the canonical URL. Note: There are some exceptions here, which can get complicated, such as whether the canonical is correct, whether it redirects, and so on.
2. The current URL is canonicalised, meaning the canonical tag points to a different URL than the page you're on. This essentially tells search engines another URL is the 'main' version of this page. This is fine if it's intentional.

If you are you using an SEO tool (like Yoast or RankMath), these usually add a canonical tag to every page.
If not, or if they do not output the correct canonical url, you can enable a setting in SEO Generator that will add a canonical tag to every created page. This setting is switched off by default, to prevent conflict with other SEO plugins.
