Q: SEO Generator Pages Are Set to noindex – Request for Support
Hello,
I am currently experiencing an issue with the SEO Generator plugin.
All generated pages are outputting the following meta tag:
Because of this, Google Search Console is reporting the pages as:
“Blocked by robots meta tag”
In Rank Math, indexing is enabled globally and for the post type, but the generated pages are still being set to noindex automatically.
Could you please clarify:
Does SEO Generator override robots meta settings?
Is there a global setting that forces generated pages to noindex?
How can we allow these pages to be indexed properly?
We are using the plugin to generate location-based landing pages (e.g., /bahnfracht/bahnfracht-in-berlin), and they need to be indexable.
Looking forward to your support.
Best regards,
Mika

Feb 19, 2026A: Hi Mika. Thank you for reaching out.
It appears that you have already contacted us via email, and I have just responded to your message. Please review my reply and let us know if the information provided assists you in getting started with the plugin.
Additionally, I would like to clarify that the SEO Generator plugin does not alter your website’s indexing settings, nor does it generate or insert noindex meta tags into your pages. This is intentional, as overriding these settings would undermine the primary function and purpose of the plugin. If you have concerns about indexing or meta tags, please let us know and we can provide further guidance.
If you have any further questions feel free to send us an e-mail on [email protected].
Kind regards,
Tim & Jeroen
