Q: Here's a suggestion, how about giving us a choice of which databases we want and limit the number we have ...

access to, rather than just bundling a bunch we don't want or need. This could work for databases that come later, like NZ. And since you're worried about our escalating costs of running these accounts, why not just give us full access but limit the quantity of results? Then we can give Serpsat a full blown test of all its features rather than a hobbled version - but we're not costing you cash because we have large limits on results? I know for me, as an agency owner we buy appsumo deals to see if we want full accounts for ourselves or to sell to clients. If you're a freelancer then the tighter limits won't be too much of a constraint as you're probably not needed huge amounts of sites or data. And if you do need more then you should really buy a subscription. We certainly have on those tools that have proven their worth.

A: Hey Cam, thanks for input. Flaxibility with accesses and limits is something we offer to our regular users (i.e. who pay per month and receive the most data). The reason why lifetime users might not have the advantages our regular users is in the very nature of the data we provide - it's a constant work with big data that goes only one way - gets even bigger. These reasons are clearly seen by our clients. Lifetime deals like this weren't meant to make us money, but rather it's an investment in the future clients who would clearly see our benefits. Customizing limits for appsumo plans isn't something we consider at the moment.
