I bought the previous lifetime deal, and I'll admit -- I really like the service.

When SerpStat first introduced their Keyword Clustering feature, I begged to get access, but didn't want to forego my lifetime account and switch to a $60/mo account just to get that feature, so I started using a comparable feature from SERanking to try to do what I need.

Now, SerpStat is back on Appsumo, but with no love or concession given to previous purchasers, so in order to be able to take advantage of this one feature (for which I purchased the new deal), I'm going to have to setup a completely different account, and manage two logins and duplication of my domains across both accounts if I want to continue to take advantage of the increased limits provided by the previous account. While this is undoubtedly still a good deal, the execution of this has been poor at best, and leaves me with the feeling that someone (SerpStat? AppSumo?) is asleep at the wheel.

Furthermore, this leads me to believe that I'm not (and never was) a valued customer of SerpStat's, but indeed just a number tacked onto their bottom line.

Given that, I also no longer feel confident that SerpStat will have longevity, and expect this company to fade into the sunset when they get tired of it (or run out of runway with the revenues from this deal) like so many other over-hyped "lifetime" deals, where "lifetime" really means "attention span."
