The original deal was okay. Many SEO tools only track a few hundred KW unless you spend big bucks. So having a max stack of 1,500kw for life seemed like a good deal. But still, it wasn’t “amazing”. Another LTD tool tracks 1,000kw/mo and has additional features like basic kw volume searching, research, etc. But I liked Serpwatch’s UI so I stuck with it.
But something was nagging at me. I still couldn’t figure out why they kept insisting on daily checks. Why do I need 1,500 checks a day. Let me set it to every 3 days or every 7 days and simply track more kw. Others shared this concern.
Well the team at Serrpwatch listened! Some of their answers to people said that their roadmap includes 3 day checks, 7 day checks, and 30 day checks. That means a single code for 150kw with daily checks turns into 1,125kw with weekly checks. Max stack? You’re at over 11,000kw with weekly checks.
All the other paid KW tools just got sucker punched! If you miss this LTD you will regret it.

as for the entire roadmap, the final deadline is the end of Q1 2021.

It IS a promise, indeed, and as you say, taking it with a grain of salt is totally understandable.
Although, we're pretty careful with what we promise; and for that reason, we've had to reject many sumo-lings' requests for the roadmap.
You should understand we've done that just to make sure we'll deliver what we've promised. So, I believe there shouldn't be much skepticism included.
