Almost Perfect Tool, Almost
Sessions took some time to grow on me. It started out of the gate as a tool that would solve all of your problems. A tool that would walk your dog, do your taxes, take your spouse on a date and more. The promise of self driving at launch was all but promised and this tool did not make it out of the starting gate on time. After letting this tool sit on the tech shelf for about 6 months I now know what they where after. They were after the perfect tool that would replace Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, any calendar tool and any webinar app (More on the webinar replacement later) I can officially say they are almost there. I did a video walk through of the areas that impressed me most here. https://youtu.be/whWAylJhRWs
Let me start with what I am still struggling with to crown it the greatest SaaS tool ever made for digital marketers and small businesses. The video is not perfect or on par with Zoom just yet, but it's getting closer every month. I think people forget when Google Meet first came out or when teams first came out. Neither one could stand up to Zoom which has been around for a lot longer then people think. I remember teaching college classes and using zoom as a free resource back in 2011. You can't really compare a tool that has been around for more than a decade, in Zoom, with a tool that has been for a couple of years at most. It's kind of unfair but the SaaS community expects them to be on par if you say you are going to replace them in your tech stack so the comparison is warranted in this case. What I can crown them 100% undisputed heavyweight champ in is for Coaching and Consulting. If you are in either of the aforementioned professions then this tool is hands down the best I have ever seen in my SaaS life. When Sessions attempt to add other supporting tools that one may need to help out the digital marketer you have to take the good with the not so good. As a small team this tool is one of the best I have seen as well for communication and sharing. I will wrap up with the following three points and will stand behind them 100% if asked a couple of years from now. 1. If this tool get's it video act together 2. If this tool could somehow deliver Evergreen Webinars and 3. If this tool could add more direct integrations (webhooks are a nice surprise and start) then this tool will be hands down the best purchase ever made on AppSumo and maybe one of the best SaaS tools ever made to date in it's genre. Yes, that is saying a lot, but for its genre I can't say I have seen a better tool that thinks about every thing. What is unfortunate is people are giving it bad tacos and they plan to keep it. They acknowledge it's potential, they see the improvements that are being made every month, but yet give a tool a low rating and they intend on keeping it. Why would you keep an investment and discourage other people from investing in it which would drive up the value in your initial investment. (not smart)

May 9, 2024Thank you for your support and your thoughts 🙏
1. The audio video is getting better and better each month.
2. Evergreen Webinars are in the making.
3. We'll keep on adding new integrations as fast as possible.
As for the bad tacos, they are a natural consequence. Nothing to worry about, but something to learn from. We'll check every experience and discover what went wrong—knowing that we'll be able to improve the platform. Bad reviews are the best if they honestly describe a real issue.
That's the only way up!
Once again, thank you, sumoling-456bdbf! 🤩
