Bankruptcy and no communication
The actual software is pretty good. Sadly, this has taken a very bad turn: The company is going bankrupt and in a bit of an odd way.
They were supposed to have gotten tons of funding from the beginning. How can you burn so much cash on a launching SaaS!? Sounds like sever financial mismanagement and not just a "whoops" we miscalculated a bit.
It's also supposed to last till the end of 2025 but I highly doubt that this is a promise they will keep. I already am encountering much more frequent problems with hosting my rooms and technical difficulties for a few weeks now. Like someone joining my room, getting the message they joined but not actually connecting in the same room. Or a room that was working yesterday simply not transferring video or audio signals the next day - open instant session, works. ???
The list goes on, so I'm giving this two tacos because the base software works really well but everything else seems to be going wrong, frankly.
I think this should already fall into the purchase protection plan AppSumo offers and I encourage everyone to ask for that.
