I’m not as convinced as many others here that this tool will replace Zoom.
I just tested it with a small group, all of whom have a good internet connection: The video images are often somewhat delayed relative to the speech and a bit choppy.

The cut-out with the blur background and the alternative video backgrounds is less accurate than with Zoom, it has blurred outlines, which is irritating.

What’s more, we were missing a timer (an integrated app in Zoom); you can’t download the recording as a video; there’s no option to live stream to Social Media; in the chat you can only write to all and not send direct messages. Breakout sessions are supposed to be possible, but they’re not intuitive to find.

Additional features that Sessions has and are missing from Zoom (so far), which I find really interesting about Sessions: Transcription into languages other than English, AI tool for extracting take-aways from the transcript, sharing the recording as a link, being able to take individual notes, scheduling calls.

So, to be honest, I am not sure yet whether I will keep this tool. Of course, I'll give it another try, but from now, I'm not totally convinced (and very much used to the features of Zoom).
