Q: I think I am as confused as others about what "white label" means...?

This is what the AppSump deal says:

"Make Seturon your own
Best of all, you can white label and fully customize this platform to match your branding, making your students feel more at home.
Use your custom domain to foster more trust with your students
Change the color palette and logo so everything looks native to your website"

However, based on the other questions, reviews and comments - it is not white label. So what is and what is not? Specifically, the domain. Is "www.mycompany.com" (for example) or is it something like "www.seturon.com/mycompany.com"?

The difference between the two would be the difference between me purchasing or not. And if it does not include a custom CNAME, then it is not actually white label and the description should be changed.

Would truly appreciate clarification. Thanks so much.

A: Thank you for reaching out!

Currently, our "Custom Branding" feature is included in all AppSumo deals. This allows every client to customize logos and branding colors for their students. However, White Label goes beyond that — it includes domain and email setup, which is not part of any AppSumo deal.

We acknowledge that the current description on the AppSumo page may be unclear, and we will be updating it soon to provide better clarity.

Again, to avoid any misunderstandings - CNAME and White Label options are NOT included in the current AppSumo offers, and are available as a separate purchase for existing customers. For additional information regarding this - please contact info@seturon.io

Agreed! I was about to pull the trigger and make the purchase. But I wanted to be clear on the CNAME mention which was very clear in the video (as you quoted). Only to read that this is not the case at all. In which case, this video should be edited.

If CNAME is not included, and if it is not clear which of the existing plans we are mapped into, this will be a hard pass for me.

Yeah. I agree. I mean truly, all they have to do is offer the ability to link to a custom domain so that it would become (for example) www.mycompany.com/ABC_class. It seems to me that practically every other product I use offers this: Canva, Meiro, website.IM, FlexClip, etc. etc. To pay so much more for custom branding and then pay even more still for custom CNAME is hard no thank you.

just FYI, no CNAME will be a big no for building course on cloud
