Software under development
Seturon's idea is very interesting and makes the purchase of this product very appealing.
The look and feel achieved for the courses is really fantastic and the modularity it offers as well. It would be a pleasure to be able to continue using this software; however, I have some cons:
- It does not support SCORM files. It is very tedious to have to recreate the courses on this platform because of the time and effort involved, especially if there are several of them. I sincerely believe that Seturon should consider implementing this possibility.
- It does not support CNAME when this is essential for many companies. I have consulted their support department and they talk about $39/month for this possibility. I consider it totally excessive and out of line.
- The company lacks a roadmap (which they must be developing as they go along) as there are insistent questions on this subject, which gives the impression that it is a company in an immature state of development and is not properly consolidated. This is confirmed by the example courses they offer which give the impression of having been very poorly developed.
- The functionality of the AI is not at all clear and this also gives the impression of a software that is in an early stage, even if it looks great.
- Finally, using external services to host the videos is a crutch that could be offered by increasing the available hosting space and is a frequent request in the questions asked.
Well, these are some of the points I wanted to make. It would be good if the company that is developing Seturon would be sensitive to these requests since it is a very promising software but it creates some discomfort among potential buyers by not incorporating options that, in my opinion, should be included from the beginning.

SCORM Support – At the moment, we do not support SCORM or Moodle file imports due to technical reasons. However, we are actively listening to user requests, and we plan to explore adding support for these formats in the future.
CNAME & White Labeling – We understand the importance of branding and customization for our users. However, within the current AppSumo offer, these features are not included. That said, we truly appreciate the feedback from AppSumo users and will take it into account as we continue developing the platform.
Roadmap Development – Our roadmap is actively being developed, and we have made several adjustments based on valuable feedback from AppSumo customers. We are listening to our users and striving to enhance the platform to meet your needs.
AI Functionality – This feature is currently being refined. We are working on improving its capabilities and ensuring it provides real value to course creators.
Video Hosting – Our platform specializes in course creation tools rather than video hosting. We use Amazon for reliable file storage, and just 50GB of storage with 500GB of traffic (which amounts to roughly 10 students fully watching all uploaded content) costs €46 per month. Because of this, we cannot offer unlimited storage, as even 50GB with frequent usage creates a significant cost for us as a business. You do have the option to purchase additional storage if needed, but we highly recommend using external video hosting platforms (specifically Vimeo) for better performance and scalability.
