Q: How do I actually use this and achieve something - where is there a detailed idiot proof walk through?
I really want to buy this product but cannot find any form of detailed walk through of how I can use the product. Plenty of marketing literature and three YouTube videos, but where is the one hour tutorial that provides idiot proof instructions?

Dec 3, 2024A: Ah, the elusive "idiot-proof walkthrough" for an API—believe me, I get it. APIs are strange creatures; they're not like apps you download and start using. They need a bit of tech integration magic to really shine.
Would you really sit through an hour-long API tutorial? (Even the best ones are a tough sell.)
That said, you've got a point—it’s actually a great idea, and I’m firing up my Loom as we speak to create a step-by-step guide. Will share here soon!
In the meantime, our API documentation is solid (because in API-land, an API is only as good as its docs). You can check it out here: https://sharpapi.com/documentation. Plus, we’ve got plenty of real-world use case examples and code samples for our SDKs in different languages over here: https://github.com/sharpapi/.
If there’s a specific use case you want help with, just let us know! We’re all about making this as painless as possible.

Thank you. I’m not a techie, but the product is marketed as low code/no code.
The documentation is meaningless at present but a walkthrough is priceless.
I learn quickly, and look forward to exploring the possibilities.
I have lots of use cases, some are outside your current customer personas. I’m a small consultancy and want to automate everything. I will submit myriad use cases after the video.

Thanks! Will keep you updated! Getting great feedback here and our TODO list is growing fast.
Second the request for guided tutorial. I attempted Postman desktop and tried to import my CSV data but no luck. Also tried to convert it to JSON, no luck. All I want to do is run my product sheet through this and generate proper categories! I am not totally adverse to code, but API is completely new to me. Looking forward to that Loom recording David!

Hi,
SharpAPI is an API, which means it needs to be integrated into your software with code. Postman is great for testing APIs by sending sample requests, but it’s not for full integration.
To categorize your product sheet, you’ll need to write code to connect your software to SharpAPI, send data, and handle the results. This is how APIs work in real-world applications.

Looking forward to Loom. Thank you! This will be helpful.
