I am interested in Google Sheets automation, as I am a heavy user of Office and Excel, and want to extend to G-Suite and Google Sheets for their own power. I thought Sheet Automation seems to have overstated the ability, so I decided to try and see.

Got to say, the first interface I saw was a bit disappointing, with only 3 rules: E-mail notification, Highlight updated rows, and Autosort every hour. Then I found out these are example recipies. There are tons of rules and recipies that I can actually create using Sheet Automation, and many of them are amazingly helpful. For example, comparing columns, or conditional form response, or move / copy rows, task management - these are like having a bunch of great macros in Excel. Simply surprising for me, who don't have time to learn Google script like l learnt VBA before.

All in all, Sheet Automation is a surprising great gift for me!!!
