I purchased this app intending to use it as a blogging platform. While I was able to set it up easily and publish the blog, I noticed several bugs. I reported these issues via email AND the built-in chat which showed my issues were seen, but I received no response from the developers even after several days.

These were simple items like published dates showing up on different date than the date it was actually published on, sheet not syncing sometimes and needing to be manually synced for new articles to show up on the site, and a few other minor design related issues.

The devs/support never responded.

An app lacking support is not worth investing in, so I advise proceeding with caution.

I recently gave Sheetany a shot, and honestly, it just works. For those blogs with other content management systems (CMS), you likely know the effort of not just writing but also spending excessive time arranging individual elements to make your posts visually appealing and formatted well. Sheetany addresses this issue by transforming your Google Docs and Sheets into an actual website or blog, and I truly value this simplicity. The setup and navigation are straightforward, requiring little to no design expertise or technical skills. However, if you're after sophisticated designs and eye-catching graphics, you may need to explore other web design solutions. But for anyone looking to streamline content creation—which is exactly what I needed—I highly recommend giving Sheetany a try. Sheetany’s ability to pull content directly from Google Docs and generate a website from Google Sheets is incredibly powerful. While I’ve used other Sheets-to-website builders, the Google Docs integration is what truly sets Sheetany apart. It allows me to create well-structured blogs, detailed long-form pages, and even a sophisticated documentation site with ease.

Although a few templates weren’t immediately intuitive to customize, Richard was quick to help and showed me exactly how to tailor them to my needs. Overall, Sheetany has become a valuable addition to my website-building toolkit—especially with its headerless and footerless embed options, which make integrating it into existing sites seamless.

Initially, I purchased Tier 1. Then, after using it, I decided to upgrade my plan to Tier 2. It's a very useful and easy to use app because it is based on Google Sheets. I just set up my Google Sheet and then sync it. It's also very easy to update. Go ahead and try it. I highly recommend it.

Sheetany is great for what it is and that is fairly represented on their website with loads of templates. I applaud the developer for coming up with and building this brilliant app based upon the simple concept of sheets to visual web directories. As average consumer / user level AI and automated processing evolve, this is the exact type of integration that will separate the champs from the chumps. No its not perfect and lacks polish in various aspects such as customization and instruction clarity, but other appsumo users have left sufficient feedback revealing most of the weaknesses. If I had summarize my experience, I'd say if you can see something you like in the templates, then YOU CAN DO THAT TOO and have it up and running in a few hours, just keep your expectation for customization in check. Looking forward to seeing Sheetany grow and improve greatness into excellence.
