This is an objective review from a Tier 3 user who has thoroughly tested the platform for a content-driven project.

The Good (The Promise):

The core concept of Sheetany—turning a Google Sheet into a website—is brilliant. I was so impressed that I invested significant time into integrating the engine with the Gemini API. I successfully built a fully automated pipeline that generated and published 89 articles to my blog (https://gridmindai.edustyle.me/) on a schedule. The potential for content automation is enormous.

The Deal-Breaker (The Facts):

My excitement turned into deep disappointment upon discovering a fatal flaw in the platform's architecture. The developer assures that all sites use Server-Side Rendering (SSR), but the facts show that this SSR implementation is not working correctly.

Here are the verifiable facts:

Invisible to AI: All 89 of my articles are completely invisible to AI crawlers (Gemini, ChatGPT, Perplexity, etc.). When attempting to access any page, they either get an empty response or an internal error. Anyone can easily verify this by submitting a link from a Sheetany-built site to an AI chat.

Faulty sitemap.xml and rss.xml: The problem is so systemic that even the critical sitemap.xml and rss.xml files are inaccessible to AI assistants. While Google Search Console might "see" them for manual submission, they are useless for all other automated systems.

Google Indexing Issues: My URL Inspection tests in Google Search Console confirm the diagnosis. The status is consistently: "URL is available to Google" but "Page is not indexed." This is a classic symptom of a rendering issue where the crawler sees a blank page first and de-prioritizes or fails the full render.

Conclusion:

I spent weeks integrating an AI content pipeline, only to find that the generated content is invisible to the very AI technologies it was created for.

I sincerely hope the developer fixes the errors in their Server-Side Rendering (SSR) implementation so that it works correctly and reliably for all customers, as claimed.

Until this critical bug is resolved, I cannot recommend this platform for blogs, directories, or any project that relies on visibility in search engines or to AI assistants. The potential is 5-star. The current execution is 3-star, due to a critical bug, not a missing feature.

I appreciate the potential here, but I believe it's still a bit early for definitive comments. The AppSumo plan currently seems to lack features like webhooks, API access, and the ability to resell on the site. While it's understandable, it feels premature to evaluate the payment gateway and AI-generated blog features, which are still in development.

The documentation is on the way, but some setups can be tricky. For instance, it would be helpful to have a comprehensive list and explanation of the column names. Additionally, if job board and directory templates are included, a user dashboard should also be part of the offering. It’s hard to envision how payment gateways will be set up at this early stage.

Auto synchronization hasn’t proven effective; manual setup may be a better approach for now.

There are many improvements to be made for SheetAny, and I feel it might be premature to offer lifetime reselling options on sheetany.com.

There are some limitations, as the template is designed for easy application and straightforward use. If extensive editing is desired, it may not be suitable. However, it offers considerable convenience since we can build an entire affiliate site using only Google Sheets. I would definitely keep this tool.

Bought Tier 2. Had a couple very minor glitches in customizing things, but support — which was fast — sorted me out quickly. For what it promises and what it costs, this LTD overdelivers with its ease of use. I may even upgrade my tier. Really happy with this.

While the templates are ready to use, sometimes even basic changes don’t reflect as expected. The general guides available seem to only cover the basics, likely for marketing purposes. The templates appear to have limited capabilities, possibly by design. This means you'll often find yourself spending a lot of time messaging, searching, and struggling to figure things out or practicing until you hit a roadblock. If you need basic customizations or to automate essential forms, your best option may be to hire a developer to guide you, though this will cost you more. Worse, you may even be advised to switch to another platform. The real issue is the lack of clear, specific guides for non-coders. This platform is better suited for developers who want to save time creating products for their clients. I was initially excited, but I’ve been disappointed. I hope the platform improves, and a more comprehensive guide or tutorials are added to better serve users. It’s not about spoon-feeding but offering real value for time and money. That’s how professional and reliable services should operate.
