Awesome Tool, but ...

My first feedback at all, loaded with a few questions. But, first thing first: I like this tool and I loved that specific AppSumo deal. I use SHORBY for some of my IG-accounts and for my business-partners. I was fine with the old “classic” bio-links and find the new “smart pages” amazing, but… Yes, there’s a “but”: When generating a “classic” bio-link, I could choose button colour and background-colour from a lot of beautiful presets. Those had more options than the new settings-dialog of the “smart pages” offers. I could even change the shape of the buttons. Is that shape sooo important? Yes, for me it is! I felt a bit “downgraded”. Wait! I can use the old features by generating a “classic” bio-link, can’t I? Hmm, selecting “create” I only get 3 options: “Short Link”, “Smart Page”, “Messenger Link”,… ok, I found a workaround: Copy an old bio-link and change it. But it feels a bit strange, don’t you think? >

1 . Question: Would it be possible, to give us the “classic” bio-links back by adding a fourth menu-item with something like “classic view” (or so) on it?

As I stated above, “smart pages” are amazing, but I was forced to find some more workarounds while looking for a convenient way to format the text: Yeah, I read your answer to another comment, that there’s no need for other/more fonts. Maybe that’s true, but I don’t believe it. It would be great to be able to choose from a predefined set of fonts. And the next problem related to this is: How can I center or align the text in a single row (that is, when choosing the “card”-item in a “smart page”)? I’d appreciate the possibility to align or format the text. If that’s too complicated to implement, editing the html-code would do as well (i.e. like WordPress, where you can toggle between the different editors). >

2. Question: Do you plan to implement some more editing-options?

Last but not least: You commented elsewhere, that “smart pages” are Google-friendly and that is true: I experienced that… even for the “classic” bio-links. Obviously, SHORBY has a high “domain authority” (hey, I know, Google always claimed: ”There’s no such thing like domain authority!”). And unfortunately that is not only a merit but a problem, too. Sometimes it may help to generate more traffic, sometimes I don’t want to be found via the SHORBY-links. Then I seriously hate it, when the SHORBY bio-link appears in the SERPs on page 1, even before the brand belonging to that link. I’d prefer a possibility to control that behaviour. >

3. Question: Is it possible to put a switch in the settings for the “smart page” to set the robots-tag occasionally to “noindex”?

What else is missing? In my opinion, SSL for custom domains is a must. And I’m desperately waiting for the GDPR-compliant implementation of SHORBY, cause everyone in the world doing business with people from EU has to fulfil those requirements.
Hope, my feedback helps a bit and I didn’t sound too harsh , ‘cos I really like SHORBY!

Cheers,
Christian
