I was always trying to optimize my Picture in wordpress - first with save options in photoshop as JPG and after opimize them again with some "free" WP plugins on upload. While I have some nice pictures taken from popluar games on my gaming blog: mc-gameserver-mieten.de it was always a challenge to reduce the size / loading time without loosing the nice effect of a picture. And on a gaming Blog you show 5-10 pictures on the homepage

Yesterday I checked my website with the online test tool : Website Speed Test (Image Analysis Tool) and was surprised that there was still 30-40% recommended to shrink my pictures even more.
I did purchase now Shortpixel and it gains these 30-40% easy after install. WoW let see how my SERPS developed next months .
Recommendations: Think about to stack up. My 3 Years old Game Blog have alone 8000 pictures
