gkcQ: Am I right in thinking with the Adaptive Images version, each image on your site is optimised very month?
So with Image Optimizer, one credit = 1 image forever, but with Adaptive Images, 1 credit = 1 image each month?
Apologies if I have something wrong, I haven't used it in a few years.
Also, what benefit do you think this has over Litespeed Cache, which is free for image optimisation?

But that image is served from a CDN thus the extra cost.
As for Litespeed Cache image optimization: I would say that this can only be compared with ShortPixel Image Optimizer (SPIO).
I believe that SPIO is much more versatile, has more options and optimizes the images better.

I'm confused by this reply.
If the Bandwidth has its won allotment, why are pics optimization being re-counted every month? You're certainly not reoptimizing, because that makes no sense. So none of this makes sense.
Also, I don't see the bandwidth consumption/allotment on my account dashboard.
