I knew of Shortpixel long before this LTD.

The adaptive images plugin/CDN is legit. They also cod the origin link into headers for images, so hopefully Google understands and maintains all our images in their index.

We have a 1 second load time on Bluehost shared $2/month hosting. Can't ask for more.

PS - we do also use WP Rocket!
