I just purchased ShortySMS today and have already sent two campaigns and the responses are returning at a much higher rate than email!

While ShortySMS is in it's infancy, the developers have a proven track record of improving the tools overtime, hence my willingness to jump in with ShortSMS now.

I'm new to SMS platforms like this, but would love to see:

- Call forwarding. If someone decides to call you back after receiving your text message, they hear the dreaded "We're sorry. You have reached a number that has been disconnected, or is no longer in service." ShortySMS should forward the call to our business number of choice.

- Merge tags. Customizing messaging by including the recipient's name sounds like an easy feature inclusion. The tool already stores the contact's first & last names, along with phone number and email address.

- Integration with SendFox. Two in-house tools should minimally share "lists".

Keep in mind this is just the initial release. Although a roadmap has yet to be published, I suspect we'll see one in the coming months. It ShortSMS follows TidyCal's trajectory, this will be a good investment going forward.
