Q: Barring API and Webhooks, I don't see why other plans shouldn't have access to customizations such as font and Terms etc.
Understand that API usage has a minor cost associated.
Changing Fonts and Terms etc. has no expense / operations cost involved (on regular basis).
Even if you don't increase the minutes per Tier, please add customizations.

May 14, 2024A: Hi thanks so much for your message. ShoutOut is very customisable anyway, brand colours, completly custom intros and outros, upload your own music. completely custom screen overlays, logo, text and background colours, a selection of fonts. The only difference is the background of the name caption. You can still change the font, font colours, background colours and size. However some companies want very specific customisation and a completely custom name caption and thier font. Normally you can just upload this but on occasion it may need a bit of coding from us to make sure everything defaults to the right position as there are so many unknown variables on the design front. This is why it's only available on that plan. Hope that helps
Thanks for your response:
Why these features:
1) Customizable Data Collection
2) Enhanced analytics and reporting
3) Custom terms and conditions
are not included in the other plans?
Once the feature is built - There is no additional effort / expense on your part to make it available to all customers / plans.
I don't think you are going to be making changes for each customer who bought 3rd Tier to suit their individual needs about these features.
Then why not to make available to all Tiers.
This could be unintentional. However, based on many past deals, this is a smell of a bigger problem, where the product quickly becomes stale after we buy the Appsumo Deal, because the owner says this feature we just added is not included in for Appsumo customers (despite their mentioned that all future features will be included) but only available to monthly paying customers despite there is no operations expense.
I would be very cautious from such deals that become obsolete and waste our money.
Thanks for your comments. We want to be able to offer the lowest possible price to people who do not need all the features we offer. It's really not unusual for SaaS products to have multiple price points, in fact Appsumo is built on multiple tiers. If we only offered tier 3 prices and features we feel it would be unfair to potential customers who didn't need all the extra features.
