My Excitement Gives it 5 Tacos but my Practicality Gives it Four

This is a neat tool with a lot of potential BUT the MAIN Drawback is that they put "Shout Out" EVERYWHERE! It's all over the emails, in the email FROM name, the Subject line, the links, the gallery page headers, everywhere! There's no getting around it. ShoutOut has an affiliate program, but NONE of the many URL links back to Shout Out have the affiliate tracking ID, so we could at least get something in return for "NON - White Label Abilities"

Unfortunately this whole thing is a walking Ad for ShoutOut to end users who likely will never subscribe because they aren't businesses.

Shout Out has a lot of useful features, but I'd like to see the following changes:

1. CName (for white label / for display in social sharing)
2. Ability to change base URL (once you set it for your company, there appears to be no way to change it, even if you change company name in the profile settings).
3. Ability to remove Shoutout logo from Gallery pages (I created a view link template, but there is no way to replicate the ShoutOut default template since the return to gallery button on the same line as social sharing is NOT an option. PLUS, the Gallery page STILL features the ShoutOut logo header with no apparent way to remove it).
4. Remove ShoutOut from the Email FROM name (ie. "YourCompanyName via ShouOut" should simply be "YourCompanyName" - of course shoutout would still be part of the actual email address but most don't look that far and shout out knows it)
5. Remove ShoutOut from SUBJECT Line or ability to make our OWN subject line ("You have been invited to record a ShoutOut video for YourCompanyName" should be "You have been invited to record a video for YourCompanyName" AND "Your ShoutOut video for YourCompanyName is ready!" should be "Your video for YourCompanyName is ready!")
6. Remove Shoutout logo from email invitation body, and video ready email.
7. Remove from email footer: To find out more about ShoutOut please visit shoutout.social
8. Minimize ShoutOut address in emails.
9. ANYWHERE a user ALLOWS ShoutOUT branding, the user should be given the option to link back to their affiliate account.

10. Allow for multiple uploads of logos to be saved and recalled on ShoutOut. (For instance, I would like a different logo on Intro Section, Outro Section, and Contributor Section of video. Instead of JUST "Place logo on intro/outro/overlay" there should also be an option to upload logo and select from list of previous uploads.) Also, multiple logos should be allowed per section.)
11. Allow option to upload our own PNG (or even) Motion Graphic Overlays and Frames (with proper format instructions).
12. Option to use custom colors for current / default frames and logos
13. Automatic text resizing and/or line removal if a customer text input is left blank.
14. Automatically FADE out music at the end of video so that sound doesn't abruptly cut out OFF BEAT.
15. For video PREVIEW areas, AUTOMATICALLY PLAY enlarged videos after clicking.

Hiya thanks for this. I only meant unfair relating to the branding as everything can be removed except a small logo on the upload link 😀 the affiliate link really does work also đŸ‘đŸ» We are working on a big update regarding graphics, colours, animations and overlays so expect some cool changes in the next few weeks. We are at Web summit next week exhibiting as a start up so hoping to get the new stuff live for that. Will look into the other stuff for sure. It would be great if you could drop a message via the support portal and if you don’t mind it would be good to have a quick chat about it. I think your feedback is really valuable especially from a UX perspective. If that works for you would love to chat. Thanks again for your honest review and I hope you find how to turn of the branding. I do hear you re having a single way to remove all the ShoutOut branding and I think that’s something we will look at for sure.
