Q: In the AppSumo offer, it says you are an alternative to Adesspresso.
Although I haven't used Adesspresso in a few years, I'm very familiar with how it worked. One of the best things about it was its A/B testing analysis. You mention A/B testing in your offer. Can you expand on how that works on your platform?

May 14, 2024A: Hi,
Thank you for your message.
We work closely together with our ad platforms partners & often use their latest product releases:
- For Google/ Microsoft Ads, we work with responsive search ads (which are now mandatory). These ads will require 15 headlines & 4 descriptions & Google/Microsoft will A/B test the copies themselves in order to find the best combinations for each audience.
- For Facebook/ Instagram, we work with dynamic ads. Similar to Google responsive search ads, these ads ask for multiple creatives (images/videos), headlines & descriptions & it is FB that A/B test the different combinations.
1. We are working on an optimisation feature, that will automatically replace low-performing ad assets (media's or text) with new ones on an ongoing basis. (see our public roadmap: roadmap.shown.io)
2. We don't A/B test audiences for the moment, as smaller specific audiences are not a best-practice anymore. However, we will continue to investigate in how we can improve this and are more than open for suggestions :)
3. Our campaigns are cross-channel, which allow us to see which channels work best & adjust the budget accordingly. (also a kind of A/B test:))
I hope this helps!
Greg
I have to tell you I'm impressed with your responses and timeliness to mine and other questions. I purchase a lot of AppSumo deals for what I think they will become. If you take this approach to scaling Shown and making it a market leader you should be very successful. I'm in.
Hey Sumolings jump in.
