- service saves emails marked as spam. If email address gets spam, then alias can be deleted by the user. Alias deletion prevents spam. Competitors do not store any emails, because it is better for privacy.
- If you respond to reverse alias then the recipient knows you use Shroud.email (text: via Shroud.email). Less private solution.
- the service adds additional its own text to email content like "Shroud.email didn't find any trackers."
1. If Alias have Caps in it, e-mails won't be delivered.
2. I've setup 2FA, I was not able to log into my account. I sent an e-mail and never got any form of communication. I did check again a week later and I was able to get in. But that's a week of not being able to use the service.
3. I've sent e-mails and live chat support with no response. Is anyone even home?
Feature Request: 1. If I add custom domain, I should have an option to pick what will be my default domain. It's weird to have to click a drop down button, if i'm using 100% my own domain.
2. There should be an option to turn off: Shroud.email didn't find any trackers. I just want to enjoy my e-mail and not have to look at additional banners on top of my e-mails.
Please fix these issues and I'll be happy to adjust my review.

Thank you for your review. I want to apologize for the delay; we had some problems with our email/chat provider but we've now taken steps to resolve them! I should also add that we've deployed a fix for the first issue: all aliases are case-insensitive now.
I'm currently working on the ability to turn off the Shroud.email header, and making it less prominent by default. And great idea about...
If we stay with 1 domain, it will eventually be blocked. I hope the owner implements a solution, else the product won't be usable.

Thank you for your review!
Yes, I agree that the domain will eventually get blocked. Adding new domains can help, but it becomes a never-ending cat-and-mouse game! For now, the suggested solution (that works long-term) is to use a custom domain. This also includes features like catch-all addresses.
This is a service that can avoid email address leakage. Using the e-mail mailbox generated by this service to register other services can avoid receiving all kinds of junk mail due to e-mail address leakage.
Well this product looks good enough to use but lack of functionalities and domains as i have been using services like this before and have a very good expereince using this type of service i can assure you this will help you but it has only 1 domain which is a down side as some services can ban a domain from being used on their website so we must have ability to change domain so we can keep using this tool. No dought it is essential now a days to have a service like this but i hope they do not disappear in thin air like other LTD sellers after some time and work long term. Thank you for this great product but please improve functionalities and add some more domain for people to choose from.

Thank you for the review! You're right -- our default email domain will probably start getting blocked by some websites eventually. It's unfortunate that people get punished for choosing privacy!
Our solution (currently in the works) is letting users add their own custom domains. We may also add more built-in domains in the future; I have added it as a feature request to our backlog.

Private but not quite

Weird Issues
After using it for a day, I found weird issues:
1. If Alias have Caps in it, e-mails won't be delivered.
