Q: Noob question: Is prospecting different from client acquisition?

I think that client acquisition is seriously missing in this course though.. Hope that gets considered.

But considering to try it out. Would be great if you could clear that up first.

And thank you very much for offering this to Sumolings!

A: Hello! We cover outreach as it relates to digital public relations--so our prospecting tips focus on the goal of press coverage. This isn’t a sales course. If you need help in that area, we would recommend a different course. :)

Q: Hello, I'd love to check the courses out, however a lot of courses are inaccessible because of no subtitling.

This is a brickwall I often see with courses due to my deafness. Are your content all videos with zero subtitles or there's transcripts?

A: Hi! Thanks for that feedback and that’s something we are looking into! Keep in mind while there are 40 courses, only around half (~25) have video. And much of the video is repeated in the course text below it, so you’d still be getting that information in text only form! I hope this helps!

Q: Hi, I like the idea here, but I'm a bit confused.

It's called a Content Marketing course, but the description mostly mentions SEO and email outreach (neither of which are strictly content marketing).

I'm really interested in new ideas focused around getting organic, inbound traffic and engaging that traffic through content marketing. However, based on the description, it's just the SEO side of this that is taught. Is that right?

Thanks

A: Hi! We focus on SEO-driven content marketing, which in our opinion is the highest ROI method and directly improves organic traffic and inbound. While we don’t touch on other inbound methods like social media, we believe our course will definitely address the areas you’re looking to improve. :)
