Q: Question About Protecting Document Library Files
I plan to use WP-Members to create a member-only area of a WordPress site, with a Sigma Media Manager document library placed on a page restricted to logged-in users.
Does restricting that page also protect the actual files and their direct URLs? For example, if a logged-in member opens a PDF in a new tab, copies its URL, and shares it with someone who is not logged in, could that person still view, download, or print the PDF?
I do not intend to use Sigma’s password protection for individual libraries, folders, or files. Access should rely only on the user being logged in and authorized through WP-Members.
Is Sigma compatible with WP-Members for this purpose, and are direct WordPress Media Library URLs blocked from unauthorized users?
Thank you.
