Great Wordpress plugin I would give it 5 star for one minor issue
I like this plugin. It makes using the media manager easier and feels more organised. Because I have a digital business, media‑files organisation is very useful. However, there is one minor issue that I wish could be resolved: Sigma Media Manager has a built‑in AI option where you can add your own API key from your AI provider, whether it is Claude, ChatGPT or Gemini, which can create image titles ALT texts, descriptions etc.
I also have another tool that also creates alt text and titles, and I actually bought it via AppSumo as well. It's called Visionati And it also has a WordPress plugin. I really like Visionati Because it is purely dedicated to creating descriptions and titles for images and similar tasks, there is not much overlap between the two plugins apart from the AI component. With Visionati, I don't need to add any credits or spend any extra money.
I wish I could use it within Sigma Media Manager rather than have to go to the default WordPress Media Manager to use Visionati.
My Visionati continues to work in the normal wWorpress media manager. I have also tested Sigma Media Manager's AI option and added some credits, but I generally prefer Visionati's descriptions and ALT text because it is purposely built purely for those sorts of tasks. That's not to say Sigma Media Managers AI‑generated descriptions and alt text are of poor quality or not good; they are actually very good. My preference is for Visionati for that feature.
If Sigma Media Manager, from my point of view at least, could somehow integrate Visionati, it would be the perfect package for me. I wish you would consider having both options for those who want to use Sigma Media Manager with an API, and a toggle that disables it, allowing you to add or use something like Visionati to generate alt text and titles within Sigma Media Manager.
This would make your product more flexible and appeal to a wider audience. There are similar products to Visionati, and some potential customers may hesitate to purchase because of this issue. It's just a thought worth considering.
Nevertheless, it is still a great tool, but that is the only slight issue for me; otherwise I would have purchased a higher plan and given it 5 stars instead of 4. Please keep improving the plug‑in. It has a lot of potential.
