Q: I tried Simply Static with Oxygen Builder like the founder states and it doesn't work.

The CSS files don't get copied over.

A: To help with that, you might want to include the directory in Simply Static -> Settings -> General -> Includes->Additional Files and Directories.

So you copy the home path (by clicking the button) and add /wp-content/plugins/oxygen/

On the next export, your CSS files should be copied without issues.

Patrick,

I find your plugin to be AWESOME. But, you have no tutorials online and it complicates things for everybody who is trying to use all of the wonderful features you put into it.

Please create tutorials or hire somebody to do that.

Also, I found out that Oxygen Builder has an option to make your plugin work with it. This is a checkbox found under Settings -> CSS Cache -> Enable CSS Caching.

You should put that on a tutorial as well. A lot of Oxygen users would just give up after seeing it doesn't work when the checkbox is not selected.

Patrick, take better care of your marketing. You have an awesome product.

Well, we have a lot of tutorials, but you're still 100% right here - we should have tutorials in combination with pagebuilders to cover all these little things!

Awesome, already noted!

I think we will go down that route sooner rather than later and provide specific tutorials for all the major builders in combination with Simply Static.

The main problem was that (before our AppSumo deal), the user base from Oxygen was 0.4% which just wasn't enough to afford it (in comparison, 74% of our users work with Elementor, 22% use the block editor with Kadence or GeneratePress and only 4% use a different builder (Oxygen, Bricks, WPBakery or Divi).

We have to run the numbers once the deal is over and evaluate the results - I'm quite certain these numbers have changed, and it will justify putting time into the others.

100% agree. We are a very technical team (which is great for helping existing customers), but harder to spend enough time on marketing - I promise we will improve here! :-)
