For your second part of your question -- We're working on password protecting links -- this is a highly requested feature and is coming right after Teams is implemented (soon) . Hence right now, anyone with your unique link can view the files.

I think you are referring to "Requests". Yes -- If you request a file, and your recipients have uploaded to that link, in your dashboard in "My Requests" you can click "Forward" to forward the requested files as a new transfer link. This will create a copy of that file and put them in the 'My transfer' sections.

Ideally with the teams feature coming soon, your colleagues can view the Requests without you needing to send them a forwarded transfer, but the option to forward them is available.
