Q: Is there a way to create a subfolder in a transfer?

Just bought today, question:

I choose to upload folder A to transfer, in which inside folder A there are 3 subfolders X Y Z, and within each subfolders, there are 3 files each x 3 = total 9 files

From receiver's side, he can see all 9 files, not the 3 subfolders structure. Is there for the transfer to 'preserve' the subfolders structure? TQ

A: Sinosend preserves your subfolder structure. Here is how it works:

The Download: When your recipient clicks "Download All," the downloaded .zip file will perfectly maintain your original structure (Folder A > Subfolders X, Y, Z).

The Web Preview: Right now, the web portal displays the 9 files in a flat list so the recipient can quickly see what files are inside the transfer without clicking through folders.

We are currently updating our download portal UI to visually display the original folder and subfolder structure right on the webpage -- Stay tuned!

Would you like the receiver side to show

- Folder A
- Folder B
- test.text

So this way they don't see the files inside each folder?

thanks for supportive responses Rishi, much respect to you.

Yes, that would be great, because I've been using pcloud to share files with clients for years. Only recently got to know of sinosend, and noticed this is a better way for many reasons - the branding, the own domain URL using cname, while retaining the password protect features etc.

Great, we've been planning this implementation as a progressive enhancement to the download portal, coming soon.

Another thing is, Rishi, FYI, your system-generated noreply email ended up in my gmail spam box as I was testing it. Not a problem for me because I connected my own custom domain (email lands in gmail inbox after that) but I don't think majority people has custom domain to connect to. just being helpful as I want sinosend to be around for long time :)

I understand, thank you. Turth is this is hard to control, our deliverability is 94%, but you and I know that even big companies end up in spam. I got an email from Tesla.com and that also reached my junk box. Good thing you connected your custom domain.. We hope to do better thanks for letting me know.
