Q: Upload Folders and Files and sned links similar to Google Drive?
I'm trying to find an alternative to Google Drive for uploading large uncut video files then downloading edited video files. My process is I upload to google drive, then send the link to my editors, they finish and then upload back into google drive.
Am I missing something or can you only upload when you send files? I would like the ability to upload assets that anyone with a link can access whenever they want/need, as well as an upload folder for editors to upload completed tasks. Is this possible?
I just purchased Tier 3 and I THINK this has everything I need for sharing files, but I'm having a hard time understanding the process since I've been so attached to google drive for the past decade or so. Any help and advice would be sincerely appreciated!
Thank you,
Andrew

Edited Nov 30, 2024A: You can certainly use Sinsoend for that workflow, but you will need create a "New Transfer", enter your clients email address, add the files, optionally add a voice notice explaining what you need them to do. The link is automatically sent to them (or you can copy the link and email it as well)
For your use-case, your clients do not need to have a Sinosend account, and as a T3 user, they wont see any branding (if you have set that up). Now, how do they return those files back to you? Here you can go to "My Request" and Create a new file request with the message "Edited video". Send that request link and they can upload back the edited video to you. Or you can always convince them get a Sinosend account too! lol :)
You will get a notification email when you receive any new requests, and you can aggregate all the requests from any number of people.
We're not aiming to be a GDRIVE or dropbox replacement, our core mission is to Transfer files, but we understand that customers would like a "Folder" use case, and it is something we're actively working on.
Thanks for all your support!
