Q: Hi I just want to clarify that there is no way currently of getting a feed from the blog on sitejet sites.

This seems like such a basic function of a website and yet another example of a site builder platform on Appsumo refusing to implement feeds. (Weblium)

Unless I am missing how one can easily and automatically share a new blog post to multiple tools and services without a feed, Im thinking of SocialBee, Missing lettr, Content Studio, Quuu promote let alone anyone who might want to subscribe to my blog posts via RSS.

Why is this feature missing from Sitejet?

Just to be clear I am not interested in the elfsite solution you have mentioned elsewhere as this is to post feeds from elsewhere onto the sitejet site - which is not what we mean.

And there is no solution to this issue via third party tools like RSS.app or fetchRSS. Because you need your website's feed in order to make these work. I know this because have already had the same issue with Weblium.

Some certainty around feeds implementation would help me buy.. but as it stands Sitejet is only good for static content.

A: Hi there Sumo-ling ,

Thank you very much for your feedback. I am sorry, but I am not familiar with Weblium or most of the third-party tools you are mentioning. Would you be able to send us a mail to help@sitejet.io with more information about the situation? We would be pleased to help you out quickly here.

Currently, RSS feeds are not natively supported within Sitejet, but we do have a feature request about this in our community. The more users vote for it, the easier it is for us to track the demand and work on a native solution.

However, we have not yet any experience or any issues with RSS.app or fetchRSS. If you have an active subscription to these tools, let us know in a mail about the technical site, and we will support you and check if it is possible to make it work.

Looking forward to your mails!

Best Regards,
André

It is odd and concering that you are not familiar with your competitors' products. My main issue is that it shoudn't be difficult to let other platforms know when i have posted new content on my website. I realise you have factors that decide which requests you action but to be honest - a dynamic feed is such a basic thing that the fact it is not implicated by now is kind of puzzling!

Hi Sumo-ling,

thanks for getting back to us.

There are different website builders out there - so it's almost impossible to know all their features by heart😊

As André already mentioned, feel free to add your vote to the feature request in our community. This helps us to prioritize upcoming features. In the meantime, integrating a third-party solution is the best way to generate RSS feeds. We are here and happy to help!😊
