Q: "Sitejet became part of the WebPros family and joined their product portfolio next to cPanel, Plesk, and ...

other products"

For the past years Cpanel pricing kept going up and up, old customers were surprised with substantial price hikes. I hope our LTD to SiteJet will never be touched.
I'm happy for you but I like certainty as well, I bought the $699 plan (which was a considerable invesment).

A: Hi there Puav,

please excuse the late response. The deal has been done for months now, and we are actually focusing on our two support channels - Mail-Support and our Community. 😇

I would like to point you to the statement our founder Hendrik gave to the community:

"The transition will not have any influence on your contracts. They will stay the same - no matter how you became a part of the Sitejet community. This also includes the Appsumo users and their deals. Not only Sitejet services, but also the team including Malte and I - two of the founders - transition to WebPros ensuring that we will keep on growing and improving Sitejet."

If you have any further questions, please feel free to contact us directly via help@sitejet.io or even better - get in touch with us in the community on community.sitejet.io 🙏

Hope that helps.

I am in the same situation with the $699 plan and try to look at the positives. The hosting should improve greatly with faster servers and multiple locations. Anything that is buggy now should be improved.

Now, do you think their plan is to include Sitejet with Cpanel and Plesk or to continue operating as a separate service? It would make sense to continue as a separate service since these customers are different than their current Cpanel/Plesk users with shared, VPS, and dedicated servers.

Hey there!

Great question. Would you like to raise this in our community?

By the way, here is the statement from our founder Hendrik on this topic in general: https://community.sitejet.io/t/exciting-news-sitejet-is-now-part-of-the-webpros-group/1150

Best Regards,
André

Puav,

I feel the same concern. The service has promise, but lack of integrations and the templates are unusable so I'm refunding. It sounds like Plesk is going to go up against Wix and Square Space. I hope the acquisition provides them with more resources and I wish them well.

Similar concerns.
Thankfully you have the right to object to your contract being transferred to WebPros (until 31st October, buried toward the end of the email...)
I am also very happy for them, but am not going to risk my investment in this LTD.
If there was a bit more clarity, transparency I might be reassured, but as things stand I won't take that risk.
