Wow. This is the most underrated product I have seen here in 3 years. This is far above any of the other website builders we have had here. The others were like WIX clones, this is more of a replacement for Word Press. I tested this about 2 years ago, and walked away as entry price was a little high (now this deal fixed that) at the time for me, and I think they had not yet added the Blog feature. Well, now they have a blog and it is beautiful. So many things to love here.
1) If you make sites for others, this is THE platform to have, hands down, nobody else comes close. You can manage the entire product in one place.
2) For agencies, the client enter there info, photo, log, etc, then you can generate a site from that and much of the work is done. Super time saver profit increaser.
3) You can easily mix and match parts of one template with another, so really they have hundreds, even thousands of templates when you consider this.
4) Keep in mind, you are learning to build a site, and there is an entire CMS, project aspect to learn, unless you are just building sites for yourself. But once you learn that, huge time savings from then on.
5) If you don't have privacy, terms, cookie notice on your site, you are asking for trouble. SJ adds all this in simply, and for no extra cost. (There are companies who do only this and charge $20 a month per site.
6) I am SICK of Siteground. First they said I used up too many Inodes. What? Now too many seconds, even though my sites are not done being built there. So much for an "Unlimited" plan. So far my site I am working on at SJ loads just as fast.
7) I love how I can see all my sites in one place, and work on one then another, no more logging in to each one. Try that with WP or Siteground, it is cumbersome.
8) It helps you keep track of where your site is at, what phase it is in.
9) Another time saver is SJ compresses photo files automatically, one more time sucking step eliminated. If you don't compress your photos your site will slow way down if you have very many. Site Jet solves this problem too.
10) Sj is not adding bulky code like WIX and other builders. This is a pro level tool, but much easier to use than WP once you dive in.
11) No more plug ins. Sj has so many features and blocks to use.
12) I do wish they had their own Store builder, but they do make it simple to integrate with Ecwid.
13) Another thing to consider: I looked over and read their entire 3 year change log, and they make changes constantly. This is a product that is getting better and better on a monthly basis. The have added over 20 temp. since I last tried them. You can also create your own templates.
14) Support has been good so far, would like to see live messaging support in the future.
15) The sites are so easy to get up. Wp sites are a maze of plug ins, and adding all kinds of things on the host level, like security, caching, CDN, etc.
SiteJet is the only tool you really need and at a great price cheaper than a WP site.
