Q: Call recording/transcripts mandatory or optional?
Does the tool work well by itself if it doesn't have call recordings or transcripts to pull info on the deals from?
In other words, does it make sense to use Skarbe without the call recording and/or transcript function (as I already rely on another tool for this)? Also, can you offer an integration with SwipeOne CRM? Thanks

Jun 6, 2025A: You can definitely use Skarbe without call recording or transcription — it’s optional, not required. Many users rely only on email and calendar data, and the assistant still works well, generating smart suggestions, follow-ups, and reminders based on your inbox and meeting history.
That said, if you run virtual meetings (Zoom, Google Meet, Teams), we highly recommend recording them or uploading the files to Skarbe’s media library. Once linked to deals or contacts, these recordings give Skarbe more context — leading to better insights, more relevant suggestions, and stronger follow-up automation.
So while it’s not mandatory, giving Skarbe access to your real conversations makes it significantly more helpful.
Sounds good, can I add recordings from Fathom manually?
Same ask
Thanks for asking! Yes, you can manually add recordings from Fathom (or any other tool) in two simple ways:
1. Via Contacts
- Go to the contact the meeting was with
- Click “Add Note” and paste the transcript, summary, or link to the Fathom recording
- Skarbe will use that context when generating follow-ups or next steps
2. Via Deals
- If the meeting relates to a specific deal, open the deal
- Add the Fathom summary or notes directly into the Timeline
- This will feed into the AI suggestions and reporting
and the third option - via Media Library
- Head to the Media Library and upload the file directly — we support videos, audio, and transcripts.
-> You can then attach it to a contact for context-aware suggestions.
