Team, I would like to decide on what plan to get - but I am confused with the metrics below: If you have already explained then my apologies and please direct me to the link to those explanations. Thank you so much!!
Email generations per month: 100 >> what does it mean? Can only auto generate 100 emails?
Call recording hours per month: 3
Total call recording hours: 36 >> what's this number versus the "3" above?
Call transcription hours per month: 5 >> meaning can only transcribe 10 calls of (30 min) per month?

→ That’s the number of AI-generated emails you can create monthly (using the “Help me write” feature). You can still send unlimited emails manually.
Call recording hours per month: 3
→ This is the number of new call recording hours you get every month.
Total call recording hours: 36
→ That’s your lifetime cap. So each month you get 3 hours added until you reach 36 total.
Call transcription hours per month: 5
→ Exactly — that gives you ~10 calls of 30 mins each per month for transcription.

That goes against what you said earlier in another comment which implies that total recording hours are reset every month as well:

I am glad you brought that up. Having hours doesn’t make much sense - recording should be recycled - in terms of data usage recycling previous recording doesn’t add storage cost. Can we have a clear and definitive answer to these recording limits?

Once the limit is reached, Skarbe will pause recording until the next monthly cycle begins. You’ll still be able to use all other features — it only affects the call recording.

✅ Email generations per month:
This is the number of emails you can auto-generate using our AI (“Help me write” feature). You get 100/month (or more based on tier), and they reset monthly. You can still manually write and send unlimited emails.

This is how many new hours of call recordings you can create every month. For example, Tier 1 gives you 3h/month.
🔁 Total call recording hours (e.g., 36):
That’s your lifetime cap. You can record up to 36 hours total unless you upgrade tiers. It’s like your tank size, and monthly limits are how much you can fill it per month.
📓 Call transcription hours work exactly the same.
So, limits reset monthly, and you can keep recording/transcribing until you hit your lifetime cap. Once you reach it, you’ll need to upgrade to increase that cap. All other features will still work.
Just to clarify — we’ve set limits on the AppSumo plans to make the lifetime deal sustainable long-term. If we offered unlimited call recordings forever for a one-time fee, we’d literally have to shut the app down next month 😅
That said, we’re working on a flexible pay-as-you-go option for recordings, and of course, you can always upgrade your tier if needed.
And not all AppSumo users rely on call recording — many use Skarbe mainly for emails, task suggestions, or integrations. So we tried to strike a fair balance based on typical usage.
