When our previous AppSumo campaign ended, we expected to move forward and focus entirely on building the next version of Skillplate.

But people kept asking us to come back.

We received messages, emails, comments, and requests from people who had missed the original campaign or wanted another opportunity to join. It happened so frequently—and from so many people—that eventually the decision became obvious.

And we are not returning with the same platform.

Bring Your Own AI API Key

We have also introduced Bring Your Own API Key for the Overmind.

You can connect your own supported AI-provider account and use the agent without Skillplate-imposed AI usage limits. Your usage is governed by the limits and billing arrangements of your chosen AI provider.

This means heavy AI users can generate, iterate, experiment, and build as much as they need without being restricted by a small monthly credit allowance.

For us, this was essential.

The Overmind is not supposed to be a novelty that produces a few paragraphs before your credits disappear. It is intended to become a genuine working partner that helps you move your business forward every day.

Beyond these major additions, we have continued expanding the entire Skillplate ecosystem.

What are past projects, failures, or successes you’ve had in your career?

All of our past projects, failures and successes lead to skillplate.

We were always in the business of helping others start and grow their business.

First we were doing it hands on with our full service digital agency Startup Masters - https://startup-masters.com/

We helped 250+ businesses make over half a billion dollars.

I mean we did like fail at least 150 of them and they shut down ... but hey 2 made over 100 million and about another 90 took off and got past the $1,000,000 a year mark from scratch.

Then we wanted to help even more people so instead of doing it for and with them we decided to teach everything we know in our Masters Academy - https://masters-academy.com/

There we have over 55,000 students. 6 successful appsumo campaigns with great feedback and many many tacos :)

We initially built Skillplate as the platform for masters academy because none of the other platforms seemed good enough. Then our students asked us to release it as a platform and we figured out that through that platform we could potentially help a billion people start, launch and grow their business.

So this is what we will do until our last days on earth I guess.

None. Skillplate is built entirely by us. From scratch. All providers we use are easily replaceable and have backups.

Skillplate was initially created as the website for Masters Academy but our students kept asking us what platform we are using and where can they get it. So we invested all of our money, dreams and energy to build Skillplate and make it available to everyone so they can start a business selling digital products quickly and easily with everything they need all in one place.
