Q: Hi, I understand that Skyblue Analytics helps with trading options.
For trading stocks directly, what features are available other than stock comparison - is there a screener, buy/sell recommendation for short term/long term and any specific strategies provided for stocks? In Youtube demo videos, I found a section 'Equity Tools' but couldn't find much details about stock trading. Please advise how Skyblue Analytics can be used for trading stocks (without going for options).

May 14, 2024A: Hi Fort22,
Thank you for your questions. Many of our tools and features are designed to assist with equity trading. Our Portfolio Backtester allows you to thoroughly test the performance of a portfolio over a specified period using historical market data. This tool supports rebalancing rules and enables you to compare the performance against benchmarks like the SPY. As you mentioned, the Stock Compare and Ticker Information features allow you to explore and compare fundamental data between tickers.
Additionally, our Forecast feature, which is based on our proprietary machine-learning algorithm, provides predictions on how each ticker might perform over spans of 10, 20, 30, and 60 days, making it relevant for both long and short-term investments. However, it's important to note that these suggestions should not be used in isolation, as the predictive accuracy of our Forecast can vary between tickers and is influenced by market conditions and events.
Another feature, the Ticker List Performance, enables you to quickly assess price performance information for a large number of tickers within a specific market cap or sector, or for your own custom lists of tickers. Finally, the platform's homepage offers many market data rankings that can aid in stock trading, along with information on upcoming dividends and earnings reports, which are neccessary to consider in stock trading strategies.
Best regards,
Seb.

Thank you Seb, for the detailed explanation.
It would be good to add a screener based on the Forecast feature. e.g., screen stocks that have bullish forecast for 60 days. Any plans to add such new features for stocks in the roadmap?
Hi Fort,
