I bought this because I occasionally need to remove backgrounds. Instead of using InstantAlpha in Apple Pages or remove background on Microsoft Office products - which is tedious - I bought this to give it a try.

I first tried a fairly complex image with a woman sitting in a chair and smoke rising above her. It didn't work well. The smoke was wiped out and part of the chair was gone. Admittedly I was pushing the app. It didn't give me the manual control to select and keep. So it either works or it doesn't.

I used a more traditional headshot of my mom with a varied background. Great job here, It even got her glasses which where positioned outside of her cheekbone line.

I was a bit confused. I figured this was a SAS product but there's actually a product download. I downloaded it just fine and placed my API key to activate. So far so good,

Glitch? When I signed into my account, I see 2 credits instead of 100. Oops! Suggestion: it would be great if the 100 credits were lifetime credits versus expiring in a year. Still, at $8, it will save me time on my next occasional photo where I need to remove the background. I guess I'm off to support to get my other 98 credits.
