A: 1) Credits are used in Slice Knowledge whenever you interface with the AI engines - for AI-powered course creation, interactive actions, prompts, bots and image creation. The frequency and complexity of your requests determines the amount of credits needed for the platforms to process your tasks.

Note, that credit usage only applies to the AI features. Traditional course building tasks like typing in your own copy, copying and pasting from existing documents, uploading your own images or selecting one of our stock images, or embedding videos don't require ANY credits. Slice provides a fun and powerful eLearning building and editing experience even when you're not using the AI features.

2) We use a combination of multiple AI engines including GPT-4, GPT-3.5, Claude, and our own tools that are specially trained on learning and teaching methodologies.

3) The stock image in our collection are royalty-free. You can use them in your modules whether they are hosted on Slice or in your own LMS.
