A very good photographer tool!
SlickPic offers a very good deal for photographers here, in my opinion. If you're like me and send your clients photos to preview and select, you'll really appreciate the extensive gallery features. I've used a similar tool before, and was able to switch over without any problems. In addition, a great simple website can be designed, which should meet most requirements. I really like the designs offered. There is also a community aspect, but it is not important to me personally. I work with my customers mostly 1:1. There is more often criticism of the storage space offered. I have purchased Tier 2 (200 GB), which is somewhat equivalent to my previous tool (225 GB). I send only JPG files, small resolution previews and full resolution processed images. So far I have managed 6 years without ever having to delete anything in hundreds of galleries with thousands of photos. I've ended up with just about 80 GB in that time frame. So for me more than enough storage space! Those who save RAW files certainly need more space, but that's a matter of how you work. Support is very good - I had some questions and they responded quickly and were very helpful. For a lifetime deal, I think the offer is great.
What I would like to see:
• An enhanced mobile experience. I can’t figure out how to switch views on mobile, buttons for „like“, „mark“ etc. are too small and seem not to work for me. The hamburger menu only takes me to the gallery home and could offer switching views imho.
• I would like to switch off statistics on my gallery home for users. Support says it's coming soon.
• Personally, I will mainly use SlickPic for 1:1 exchange with clients. With the sharing link to an unlisted album, I’d love to provide a login-free workflow for my client to be able to view the album(s) and instantly proof any images without having to login via email. Could this be possible?
• I set my own domain for my gallery and would love to share quick-links with my domain. According to support, it will be possible soon.
I really enjoy using SlickPic und look foward to dive into the website builder soon. If you're into photography and need to manage your images online I would highly suggest to give SlickPic a try.

May 9, 2024Thanks, Ulf, for your kind words and detailed review. You have a good point on storage space. What we see is that 90% of photographers never exceed 200GB space allocation. Unless you upload RAW photos or large videos, it’s enough for most photographers, and those who need more - they can always purchase more. Regarding your other questions, as you’ve indicated, our client support already answered them. Thanks again for your positive review.
