Q: Archive a Closed Bank Account/Card?
If I close a bank account, is it possible to archive it to free up bank account quota?
Like if a bank account was closed and has no activity for a significant period of time I.e. has no relevance to the current or previous financial year.
Or the bank account, even if closed, will stay using quota permanently unless we delete the company and re-make it?
Or we should delete the bank account and remove those statements once the records are not needed?

May 15, 2025A: Once you upload a statement, we reduce your limits since we have already consumed resources for it. Unfortunately, it is not possible to delete transactions, companies or bank accounts to free up limits in that manner.
For common cases such as credit card replacements, our team can assist you.
We shop around for company credit card deals every year or so. That means while we won’t have more than 1 or 2 active at any given time, they will change and be replaced by a new card account fairly regularly. Does “our team can assist you” mean card account slots will be swapped as the card changes or not?
Our approach is fundamentally against system abuse. You might be surprised at how common this has become recently. We have no issues with legitimate real-life events. Stolen cards and closed bank accounts are valid reasons to free up bank account slots, which do not happen every month.
Unfortunately, we receive requests from users who process hundreds of documents, export and delete them, and then open a ticket asking why they cannot upload a statement from a new bank account. I hope you understand our position.
