Q: issues
Overall, as a user with a lifetime plan, I have some concerns about Smart Clerk. Firstly, I was allowed to register 15 bank accounts, but if I mistakenly upload an incorrect bank statement, the company still counts it as one account without any possibility for modification. Secondly, there is no dashboard displaying how many bank accounts I have left, which is quite inconvenient. Lastly, I've noticed that the company inexplicably adds bank accounts that do not belong to me, raising doubts about the accuracy of the data.Please explain these issues

May 14, 2025A: On the Reconciliation page, you can see at the top how many different bank accounts you’ve uploaded statements from.
Within your Tier limits, you can upload statements from multiple banks and credit cards. However, removing a bank and adding a new one would effectively bypass those limits, and AppSumo deals aren’t intended for that purpose.
When you upload a document that isn’t a bank statement—such as a CSV file or a PDF table—our algorithm can detect an incorrect bank account number. Please feel free to contact customer support so we can assist you further.

How often do people open/close bank accounts? You're acting like the AppSumo deal is the deciding factor rather than real people's lives and activities. If someone closes an account, I doubt it's for nefarious "get around it" reasons.

I have to agree with WriterRen and it's what's making me hesitate about buying the deal. I will absolutely stay within tier limits in any given year, or two. But looking at the number of card accounts I closed (replaced with others) over the last 6 years I would absolutely reach the limit. Then what? SC is effectively blocked? Closed accounts should be recyclable for new ones after a waitingperiod
I'm in the same boat. Now having second thoughts about purchasing based on that response.
Glad I saw this was just about to but the top tier but it won’t work for my needs. Too bad keep looking

I want to share my experience because Smart Clerk's public reply contradicts their email to me.
They claim wrong uploads might not count and suggest contacting support. But support told me: “Deleting statements won’t affect your account upload limits.”
So even a mistake uses a slot.
No way to undo it, no dashboard to track usage. That’s a real trust issue.
