Good for PDF Statements Only; UI Needs Work for Data Entry
Will not accept CSV transactions directly from institutions, which is the only way for me to download them from multiple accounts. Makes the product worthless for me, but I see the promise. I uploaded one PDF statement to test and it recognized transactions well, but data entry isn't fast. I click in the description to enter the payee information for a check and can't hit tab or enter to submit, I have to click a plus. Terrible for data entry speed. Categories management requires one category added at a time make chart of accounts setup VERY time consuming.

As for data import, we currently only support bank and credit card statements, with direct bank integration to follow. Unfortunately, CSV import is not in our roadmap, as we are focusing on achieving simplicity through drag-and-drop functionality at Smart Clerk.

Excellent Product with Room to Strengthen Data Trust

Too much bug and too little settings to fix the bugs.
I recently purchased your subscription and have encountered a few issues that I am unable to resolve on my end. Below is a list of the problems I’ve noticed:
1. My income/revenue does not appear in the report. -> When I change the vendor name, the system changed the date automatically to the previous year.
2. When I upload my credit card statement, it gets split into two accounts. -> They gave me one more statement to upload to cover the incident, however, I still want the to be one, this due I have two credit cards in one account, and they split it into two, I also can't fix or rename the statement. My other account name was N/A.
3. I am unable to view my support tickets. -> I only can read after the tickets was replied.
4. Uploaded statements are being misread—for example, a value of Rp270,000 is displayed as Rp270. -> CS said the AI will look into my algorithm for statements and improve the accuracy over time, I can't review the improvement made by the AI knowledge base for my account as the access is limited not for the user.
The potential is great, I'd love the simplicity, just hoping that they can fix the issue promptly, thanks!

The review was an honest assessment, not intended to pressure the support ticket.
1. If a customer did not receive a support ticket summary after send to the company is a significant flaw in the system. Relying solely on the company without issuing a ticket for the customer creates confusion, especially when we don't know if the support ticket has been issued or how we can maintain if missed on our email.
1. A bug is a bug, whether the company acknowledges it or not. Having restricted access to edit and fix settings is a major drawback. Claiming the system improves accuracy without informing users is problematic. Users cannot determine whether the AI makes the right decisions without human oversight.
Again the review I made is for the good to the Company as sumo-lings is also benefited to the product. Hope you can improve the good job of your work, not just pressuring the customer support. Thank you.

Geez, this is incredible! It's better than you think.
🌮🌮🌮🌮🌮 For me, this is what makes this so powerful: it's UI is perfectly intuitive, uploading in bulk is super easy, processing is both fast & accurate.
I was shocked at how quickly and accurately everything worked. I was already familiar with my 2024 numbers, so when Smart Clerk gave me the Profit & Loss statement, I was blown away at the accuracy.

No One Saw This Coming... Not even my Bookkeeper
As a result of Smart Clerk I may have to fire my book keeper. Then again my book keeper is my wife so this in actually may not happen. Nevertheless, if you have a book keeper you might have to have that talk with them and let them know that this is the first known job that Ai has replaced.
All kidding aside this tool solves one of my biggest problems I had in my company. I just hate putting financial reports together. Also, already in the first quarter I have I just realized that I have spent more on Appsumo this year then this period last year. (yikes!) That was the bad news. The good news is I have made more in my first two months of the year than last year this time and I can already tell three months in that this could be a very good year for me.

I have seen tools like that come here before and they go under the radar until enough people get wind of them. This tool is not perfect but it does one thing very well and that is read documents and put them in the proper place. Okay, I uploaded two documents as a test and out of nearly 30 pages I had to go and change a few entries about 6 to be exact, but that was from like several hundred entries. Unlike others I am not that quick to add auto banking as I still like to look at the entries almost one at a time to make sure they are hitting the right accounts. That is the school trained Accountant in me I guess. This tool could save you thousands of dollars in a matter of minutes. Why? Because ai is good but it because a beast when it evaluates pure facts or fact inputs. The best thing about numbers is they don't lie so mixing it with ai it becomes poetry in motion.
Not a perfect tool but looking forward to it's growth. If they had an agency tool or added that as an option then I could retire a rich rich man. Did I say a rich rich man? Yes
Pick up this tool it is a not only a time saver but a life saver as well.
