I absolutely dread getting my stuff together for tax season, but Smart Clerk has simplified the process for me.

In a matter of 2 hours I was able to categorize transactions between my two businesses. The interface is easy to navigate and I was up and running as soon as my statements were uploaded. The longest part about the process was getting my statements downloaded from the bank and uploading them in Smart Clerk (which in the grand scheme of things didn't take long at all). I know the Plaid integration is coming soon, so that will also save a bit of time.

The only complaint I have is that I'm missing a month when looking at my overall dashboard graph for the year (my P&L statements are correct). I know this is a small bug (that I'll report to support), but otherwise I'm happy with my purchase.

Features that would be helpful:

- To be able to log other business deductions like mileage for those who use our car for business.

- The ability to enter in our standard tax rate

- Training on how to accurately classify deductions. I was able to easily add categories and subcategories, but some deductions could fall in a grey area

- The ability to allow tax preparers to access without having to export P&L statements

Overall, this is a great product, and I'm happy with my purchase. Looking forward to future updates.

Editing my review from 4 stars to 5 stars...support is excellent and I have no doubt the dashboard bug showing on my end will get fixed. I spoke with Eric about account limits and he is currently trying to figure out the missing month in the dashboard issue.
