MatthiasQ: Hi 👋🏻, what is the QR-code referring to?
What will change the QR code or the Smart VCard? I assume that the QR-code is always linked to the current location on the FTP, right? So, when I upload an updated version of the VCard, the QR-code won't change, right?
In the editor, there is a field where we can set the URL of the card. It is optional, but I wonder what's the point of this. Can you please explain the reason for this field?

May 15, 2024A: Matthias, you are correct. If you update fresh content and overwrite the existing content to the same URL, the QR code does not change.

If you know what your URL will be before you upload the files to your hosting account, you can use it.
it will add that URL to your .VCF file and it will appear in a smartphone if the user Saves the Contact. It is good if you want a user to be able to access your full digital business card again. I don't use it personally, because I want people who I share my contact details with to call, email or text me.
