Great Concept but Poor Customer Service and the Software Doesn't Work
This is my second attempt using SmatLeads. I genuinely love the concept, but the software functionality and customer support just aren't there.
Here are the main issues to be aware of:
1. Email Integration Bug: I signed up with my personal email (my AppSumo default), but I need cold emails sent from my business domain. Even though I updated my profile to my business email, SmatLeads still routes everything through my personal address. This creates a disconnect in the sending tool, making it impossible to send campaigns.
2. Unresponsive Support: I've reached out to support continuously for two weeks about this simple fix. Every time, I get a one-sentence reply saying they're "looking into it," but nothing ever changes or gets resolved.
3. Flawed Lead Exporting: Since I couldn't send emails through the platform, I tried exporting my leads to use elsewhere. However, SmatLeads dumps all your leads into one massive list on export, completely stripping out the project categories you carefully organized them into.
At this point, I haven't been able to actually use the software due to the email routing bug. Sure, I could manually copy and paste each lead into another tool by category, but that defeats the whole purpose of buying automation software.
What's the worst part is that these issues could probably be fixed in minutes if their team actually cared to help.

**Regarding the email-sending issue:** I'm happy to let you know that the sender email bug you encountered has now been **fixed**. You should be able to use your business email for your campaigns without SmatLeads incorrectly routing them through your personal/AppSumo email.
**Regarding the lead export:** We believe there may be some confusion around how the export is being generated, because leads can be organized and exported based on your projects. Rather than asking you to spend more time trying to figure it out yourself, I'd personally like to look into this with you and make sure you're getting the expected export.
