Q: Hi again, I am still fascinated by the format but to be honest: I still don´t really understand it and can´t ...
sort this puzzle-piece in my whole portfolio. I don´t know where it belongs and I already mentioned that the description, like in many Appsumo-Deals, is too much focused on promises and lacking on giving real information. So I try to adress the most relevant questions for me:
1. What are "stories"?
Stories, as far as I understand them, came up in Instagram and it seems like facebook also integrated them some time later. It´s the 24-hour-format to give a quick update but only for the moment and not for the future. Is this correct? Does the term "stories" now relay to the "short-term-vertical-aligned-interactive-smartphone"-films?
2. Where do web-stories work?
Can stories created on Snackeet be used as Instagram-Stories? That would be one of the most important points for me: Can I create a story on Snackeet for multiple places or will I have to create an Insta-Story on a different place?
3. Where do web-stories show up?
I really don´t like the demo-stories on your website because they seem to not follow what I am used to as a desktop-user. When I simply look on your Lead-Generation-Storie I can´t identify the "Yes!"-Button as a button. For me it looks like an ad and not like a storie, mostly because the button is "too interactive". Same about multi-page-stories, this format looks just like it is not made to be shown integrated on a website.
On the other hand I think, this exact same story would look great on a mobile phone. So I guess the stories are "made for mobile" and it would make sense to hide them on a desktop. But well, this is just my impression and I would be happy if somebody clarifies.
4. The Future of Web-Stories
Motivated through Snackeet I googled a little and it seems like This Story-Format is like the next big shit comming up. Google already launced "Google Web Stories", I didn´t know that, and it makes really, really sense to have a good tool for that.
But ... how do they all interact? If I can use Snackeet to create Web-Stories that can be used as "Insta-STories" as well as "Google-Stories" this would be great. But if Snackeet just creates a "Web-Story-Designer" and the result can not be used on Insta and Google then I don´t see a sense in trying to create a Story-Format on my website while still need to create Insta- and Google-STories with other tools.
It would be great if you can sort my thoughts a little. It´s not so much about the builder itself, it´s about having an Idea for where to place Snackeet in the whole Workflow.
;)
All the best, Julian!

May 15, 2024A: Hi @Julian_Wolf! Thanks for all your questions. Let me go over them:
1. What are "stories"?
Stories are like you described: they are a vertical format of interactive content that become popular on Instagram and later Facebook. We bring this kind of design into a broader range, with several interactive options and great ways to analyze the information collected through. These range from surveys, quizzes, forms and much more, only in a more visually attractive and interactive manner.
2. Where do web-stories work and 3. Where do web-stories show up?
These stories can be shared as a link or embedded in an iframe or a widget, and you can display them in different ways. It’s really up to you on how you wish to better present them to your audience and how they can better interact with it. In your workflow, they can work as a valuable tool for collecting relevant information and data from your users in a way that is more attractive to them than simple text-only forms and surveys, for example.
4. The Future of Web-Stories
We also believe that web-stories are the future and hope that they can expand beyond the boundaries of social media, which is why we exist! Still, more integrations are not being ignored by us, and we do wish to have more options for sharing in future builds.
Hopefully this sparks your interest in Snackeet even more! ;)
