It kinda sucks...

Not gonna lie. It's a good idea, but it kinda sucks. I tried to upload a video to edit, but it told me the max limit was 2GB. So, I had to use another video editor to cut my original video in half. So, here I go all excited to upload my now half video (not that big a deal, right?), but then it tells me "Task too long to complete".

Essentially, my first experience using Snapcut, and I ended up using another app to appease their limits, and it STILL told me to buzz off. Overall, very disappointed. I don't understand why an editor for longform content would demand you upload the footage. Why not just make a desktop app? Then, people could upload the smaller, ready to publish clips, which I THOUGHT was the point of this app.

Hi DevintheDeveloper,

We apologize for the inconvenience. We understand that 2GB per upload limit might be not comfortable to all, and we are working to expand it to 5GB.

Regarding "Task took too long to complete" error message, there are different reasons why it failed to process, and if you don't mind, can you drop us an email to hello@snapcut.ai so that we can serve you better?

We want our tool to be inclusive for everyone, so we go first with a web app. Our long-term roadmap will be ready with desktop apps/mobile apps with sufficient resources and support from users like you ;)

Thank you. We look forward to making you a happier customer. Merry Christmas 🎄

Best,
Khanh, Co-founder @ Snapcut
